CURRENT BEER LINEUP
Single Spey IPA
When the wind is howling down the river and that perfect seam feels just out of reach, it’s time to go for a Single Spey. Just like the cast, this IPA is perfectly balanced. Warrior hops bring out a notable bitterness that is seamlessly counterbalanced with citrusy notes of Cascade, Amarillo, and Mosaic hops. When it’s time to hit the river, don’t forget a Single Spey.
Double Spey IPA
We decided that it was time for a big beer! Introducing the Double Spey IPA. We took a whole bunch of hops and loaded it into this easy drinking IPA. Try one now… only in the taproom.
Double Spey Coffee IPA
We decided that it was time for a big beer! Introducing the Double Spey IPA. We took a whole bunch of hops and loaded it into this easy drinking IPA. But then we wanted to make it a bit unique… so we added 13L of cold brew coffee from our friends at Seven Summits in Rossland. Poured out of our nitro tap, this beer is creamy, hoppy, and has just a hint of coffee to keep your taste buds guessing. Try one now…only in the taproom.
Our introductory beer for those who are new to the craft beer scene with enough complexity to make this a hit with any beer lover. This blonde ale is crisp and clean with a touch of biscuit for a complex finish.
Honey Hole Brown
Every angler has a spot. THE spot. The place where if you invite someone to it, they have to swear that they will never tell another soul. However, we are a little bit more generous here at Tailout. So welcome to the honey hole! This brown ale has a good dose of honey malt to give it just a hint of sweetness.
Out And About
Brewed in collaboration with Destination Castlegar, this hibiscus orange wheat ale is sure to impress. Bella Coola Tea from KooTEAnay in Rossland brings out a delightful burst of hibiscus and orange that balances wonderfully with this wheat ale.
For the fall season, we decided to bring that delicious German style beer to Castlegar. Crisp and easy drinking, this amber lager has enough malt body to make even the most finicky German beer drinker say “Prost!”
Keep It Reel Pale Ale
The days might be getting colder and shorter, but that is no reason to avoid those hoppy beers! This pale ale skirts the line with being an IPA by having huge hop aroma and a balanced bitterness. It’s not winter yet so be sure to keep it reel out there!
Come and visit us in our brand new taproom for flights, pints, and growler fills of some of BC’s finest craft beer. We don’t currently serve food in-house, but we practice an open “Bring Your Own Food” policy, so feel free to pick up food on your way over, pack a picnic, or get some great local fare delivered right to your table!
